Post MoU Helsinki and Ten Years of Tsunami

Tsunami occurred on December 26, 2004, triggered by an earthquake measuring 9.3 on the Richter scale earthquake center was 3.3 degrees North latitude and 95.98 longitude. The impact of this earthquake stretched for more than 1,200 kilometers from Aceh to Andaman. Memories and hopes related natural disasters shake southern region of Asia and Africa. Based on data from the Regional Government of Aceh, the tsunami caused 126.741 deaths, 93 285 people missing, 500.000 people homeless, and more than 750.000 people lost of work. Representation from 34 countries will attend this memorial. Leaders of Government  who will be present, the Prime Minister of Singapore and the Prime Minister of Malaysia, was also attended by representatives from a variety of bilateral and multilateral institutions. Decade of Aceh suffered the tsunami that was so heartbreaking and cause tremendous economic losses for the province. However, better known Aceh porch of Mecca slowly got up and arrange its return. As a thankful  for all the help from various parties now hold the government and the citizens of Aceh tsunami warning 10 Years to be held on 25 to 28 December 2014, inviting back the countries that care about the suffering of the people of Aceh during a disaster.

A number of activities will take place in Aceh, starting 25 December 2014 until 28 December 2014, to commemorate 10 years of the tsunami. Vice President Jusuf Kalla has been there to follow this warning. The 10th anniversary of the tsunami disaster also presents exhibitions, arts, and photos. The theme of the exhibition is the Reconstruction and Disaster Risk Reduction with  appreciation night. This activity is an appreciation of the government of Aceh - Indonesia and also the sacrifice of the International community with the theme "Thanks to the World" to keep the network brotherhood, this activity becomes an important thing to do.

The words that touch of United States Secretary of State John Kerry commemorate 10 years of the tsunami, there wasn't proper words to express the loss. There is not  the way to remove liver injury parents who lost their children or children who lost their parents. With the help of a tribute to the millions of people who have stepped in to help recovery efforts in the area affected by the tsunami and after and still continue its contribution was, after the tsunami through the years in Aceh.
Residents of Aceh can be recovered quickly by looking at the numbers of the population before the tsunami of 2004, the population of 239.146. A total of 61 265 resident  were died or missing in the tsunami or stay 177. 881 people in 2005. The survey in 2013, the number of Acehnese already 249.282 people. Population in Aceh was back to living on the seashore. They believe that tsunami will not come back for a second time.

4.     Monument "Thanks To The World", which symbolizes that the province is not alone facing the magnitude of the natural disaster. The monument is located in Blang Padang in Banda Aceh, established as a form of gratitude to the people of Aceh volunteers, and all agencies both at home and abroad who have provided assistance.
5.    Lastly is the Aceh Tsunami Museum specially built in memory of 240 thousand people affected by the tsunami. The museum has a variety of dioramas during the tsunami, the seconds when the tsunami occurred and after the tsunami. Museum also features a 4-dimensional vehicle that takes visitors to feel the sensation of the earthquake and tsunami.
   
Despite the ferocious tsunami had occurred 10 years ago and the reconstruction and rehabilitation project ended, a number of issues related to the handling of the disaster in Aceh was still left, among dozens of families of tsunami victims who have not received housing assistance while many buildings lie fallow aid and start rotting. Should no longer displaced by the tsunami in Aceh after working lives Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Agency (BRR) Aceh-Nias BRR ended in 2009. The agency is mandated to rebuild and also manage the post-tsunami reconstruction funds, 2004. Including US, Japan and other countries also joined the large disburse funds to help the physical development of the post-earthquake and tsunami and peace in Aceh.

Finally the Government of Aceh through the National Unity, Politics, and Public Protection (Kesbangpolinmas) launched Aceh's Peace Museum, Tuesday 23 December 2014. These to support the study center for peace in Aceh, Aceh new generation of information and knowledge enough on past experience, the Aceh peace museums can provide knowledge of armed conflict, the conflict resolution process, until a peace agreement.

Another issue of post-conflict this time, internal conflict against the new government Recitation, namely of GAM combatants name is Abu Minimi as a fairness issue many widows and orphans combatants who live in poverty, as well as the extent of discrepancy some groups of former combatants.
